2. Account and public profile information
We collect information you provide when creating or updating an account, including your email, password credentials, shop name, username, biography, location, profile photo, and shop preferences. We store a password hash rather than your plain-text password. Public shop information, listings, listing photos, and published ratings can be viewed by visitors. Purchases made through a live show can produce public announcements showing your profile name, username, purchased item, and quantity. Choose public profile details carefully.
3. Orders, shipping, and payments
We handle purchase and sale records, item details, amounts, payment status, delivery addresses, carrier and tracking information, and earnings records. Stripe handles card entry and payment processing; SellRiot uses payment references and limited card information such as brand and last four digits rather than storing full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe may collect identity, bank, and verification information directly for seller Connect accounts.
4. Photos, camera access, and packing evidence
When you choose a camera feature and grant browser permission, the camera provides a preview so you can capture a photo. Profile photos can be cropped before upload. Photos are uploaded when you choose the relevant save or upload action. Public profile and listing images are served through image storage and a CDN. Order packing photos are stored separately in private storage and made available through authenticated seller-order tools. Label images may contain names, addresses, and tracking numbers; we process their barcodes to help check tracking details.
5. Messages, support, and live shows
We store messages and attachments submitted through messaging, and support-request details such as your email, topic, order reference, message, and request reference. Live services process creator video and audio, participation data, show inventory, and related sale events. Creator video can be recorded when recording is enabled. Recording files are stored privately and are accessible to the creator through authorized tools. Information you broadcast in a public show can be seen or captured by viewers.
6. Technical information and cookies
We process session identifiers, request and security information, and technical data needed to provide the site and investigate failures or abuse. Network requests expose information such as IP address and browser details to the servers and providers involved. An essential session cookie keeps you signed in and supports security checks. Blocking or deleting it may sign you out or prevent account features from working.

9. Storage, access, and retention
We use access controls and other safeguards intended to protect stored information. No online system can guarantee complete security. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our providers. We retain information as needed for the purposes described here, including ongoing accounts, completed orders, payment and tax records, disputes, abuse prevention, backups, and legal requirements. Retention varies by record type; we do not promise immediate deletion from all systems.

SellRiot accounts and transactions are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Do not create an account for a child or upload another person’s private information without an appropriate basis.
